A Superintendent is responsible for leading multiple teams to ensure jobs are completed efficiently, effectively, and safely both in and out of their geographical location. This position is responsible for assisting in the preparation and planning of upcoming jobs as well as enforcing any safety processes and procedures that may follow. This position is responsible for leading and developing individuals in efforts to increase skill sets and shift talent throughout the organization.

Employment Type: Full-Time

Hours: 10 hour shift, 8 hour shift, night shift, on call, overnight shift, overtime, weekend availability

Responsibilities: · Travel 75% to various geographic locations to perform industrial cleaning services, outages, and job assignments. · Assists VP of Operations/Operations Manager in planning and coordinating equipment and human capital to meet customer expectations · Ensure crews traveling to other locations have all the necessary tools and equipment o complete the job efficiently, effectively, and safely. · Plan work and obtain needed materials for scheduled work, including travel and lodging arrangements for your team. · Lead individual crew to complete jobs both locally and in other geographical locations depending on business needs · Train and support multiple teams within the area of responsibility. · Ensure vehicles and equipment are properly maintained including scheduling and completing maintenance, and cleaning, and always equipped with necessary tools/equipment. · Communicate job scope changes, job details, job cost savings, and potential job opportunities with business development. · Ensure all administrative duties are completed properly and timely such as timesheets, JSHAs, etc. · Visit local customer sites to ensure crews are meeting all expectations regarding policies and procedures set forth by Sierra Chemicals and the customer.

Education Requirements: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.

Experience requirements: · 3-5 years of experience in field management. · 3-5 years of experience within the industrial, and operational field.

Qualifications: · Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and computer skills. · Ability to be hands-on. · Valid driver’s license with a good driving record. · Must possess good administrative, public relations, and technical skills necessary to enhance overall operations.

Physical Requirements

  • Pass a DISA background check and drug screening
  • Travel overnight across various states for 2-3 weeks at a timeat a
